Anti-slavery Policy Statement

Houghton International is opposed to all forms of human trafficing and slavery and takes all necessary steps to ensure the promotion of sound, moral and ethical practices throughout the whole of its business.

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking within our supply chain or in any part of our business and require that our supply chain partners adhere to the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

We undertake all necessary and practical steps, to ensure that our standards are being implemented throughout our supply chain in pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Our staff hand book ensures our policies and prcedures help protect our employees and ensure fair treatment for all. We prevent slavery by ensuring all our employees have the relevant right to work documents before commencing work with us.

We prevent the use of child labour by abiding by the Working Times Regulation and our policies protect our Young Workers.
