Dynamic Balancing Services
At Houghton International, all rotating equipment is subjected to comprehensive dynamic balancing prior to dispatch, whether they have been rewound or not.
Dynamic balancing can significantly increase the lifetime and efficiency of rotating equipment and can be carried out in house using our range of balancing equipment or in situ.
Benefits of dynamic balancing include:

- An increase to the lifetime of a machine
- A reduction in bearing load and noise
Some items (for example fans) may require a mandrel in order to complete the dynamic balancing. Our on site machine shop can design and manufacture these, taking into account the target tolerance.
