We recently doubled the capacity of our large machine repair shop to create more space for our business to develop and grow in line with our customer needs.
The first major change is the relocation of our winding facilities to a purpose built clean environment. Customers benefit from this two-fold as not only does this provide a larger, dedicated area designed specifically for winding, it also frees up capacity in our general repair shop for standard repairs.
The new winding area replicates the conditions in our high voltage coil manufacturing facility, providing a dirt and grime free work space ideal for the rewind of higher voltage motors and generators. Teamed with our new energy efficient burn off oven which enables us to work on larger machines in house, this makes us one of only a few companies in the UK who can handle larger HV repairs.
Additionally, there is also a specialist research and development area, including a bespoke testing laboratory, to enable us to continue to work with customers to develop new technologies and provide solutions to their ongoing issues. We are currently working with several start up companies to develop bespoke coils and power generation technologies using our high voltage expertise.
In line with our growth trajectory we have also employed a number of qualified engineers in recent months to support the development of the business as we continue to see an increase in demand both in the volume, size and scope of work we undertake.
