Organised by EY in conjunction with The Newcastle Journal, the Manufacturers’ League is designed to promote the efforts of manufacturers in North East England. It sees businesses from across the region compete to be included in quarterly league tables of the best performing firms according to a range of criteria.
The competition is open to any company with manufacturing operations in the North East region with a turnover in excess of £1m. The data submitted is used to rank companies into 4 league tables showing the highest growth of turnover, exports and apprentices, relative to the employee base.
