To attract new talent and skills to the company, as well as bringing long term job and career opportunities to the industry, electro mechanical engineering specialist Houghton International have recruited four 2013 apprentices and two intermediate manufacturing apprentices with the support of group training provider Tyne North Training.
The annual four stage process commences in June with an open day which involves local schools and colleges. Successful applicants embark on a four year apprenticeship programme resulting in accredited qualifications. The company operates a structured apprenticeship programme.
