Houghton International awarded OHSAS 18001 Certification

Michael Mitten OHSAS 18001Electro-mechanical engineering specialist Houghton International have been awarded OHSAS 18001 Certification, the British Standard for occupational health and safety management systems. The standard exists to assist organisations implement demonstrably robust occupational health and safety performance and is widely regarded as the world’s most recognised occupational health and safety management systems standard. The company plan to achieve ISO 14001:2004 accreditation in 2013.
