Apprentice Recruitment Open Day 2013

Electro Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeships - Houghton InternationalElectro-mechanical engineering specialist Houghton International is to hold their annual Apprentice Recruitment Open Day on Wednesday 26th June where they aim to recruit a number of full time apprentices to join the team in autumn 2013.

Interested applicants will be able to discuss the opportunities available to them and meet the management team, including current apprentices, at the companies head office in Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne between 9.00am and 3.00pm.

The apprenticeship programme offered is the Association of Electrical and Mechanical Trades (AEMT) Electro Mechanical Apprenticeship Programme, delivered in conjunction with Loughborough College. This is a four year work based / block release Apprenticeship Programme leading to: Performing Engineering Operations (PEO) Level 2,BTEC Diploma in Engineering Level 3,NVQ Electrical and Electronic Engineering Level 3,City and Guilds 2330, 3 Repair Units and Personal Learning & Thinking Skills (PLTS.)

Applicants will need to meet the entry requirements of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including Maths, English Language & one Science.
