Designed for use in tropical climates, Hi Flex is our fully cured, but totally flexible, insulation system.

Why did we develop HI Flex?
The Hi Flex insulation system was developed specifically for a Nigerian client who had problems with B-Stage coils solidifying in transit. End windings became brittle, with many having to be scrapped.

What Hi Flex offers
Hi Flex is a fully cured film/mica/film tape with unidirectional glass to enhance mechanical characteristics, bound with an acrylic resin.

The tape allows total flexibility in tropical areas, which can remain flexible for the machine's lifecycle. The system has become our company standard, with many of our repair clients around the world utilising the guaranteed flexibility of the coils, which is ideal for large two-pole windings.
